Free Public Transport Now!

Tell Chris Minns and Labor it’s time for reliable, connected and free public transport across NSW!

    Free Public Transport Now!

People are struggling under soaring costs for basic essentials like food, rent, and energy. Now, with fuel prices going through the roof we need all options on the table to provide desperately needed financial relief.

Making public transport free is one simple thing Premier Chris Minns can do right now for NSW that will make a real difference.

Victoria and Tasmania have done it. So should NSW!

Free public transport would immediately put money back into people’s pockets, reduce congestion for drivers who have no alternative and help keep our communities connected. Not to mention saving petrol for essential uses and for those with no access to public transport.

Removing fares permanently would mean we’d no longer need an expensive, privatised ticketing system, it would reduce road maintenance costs and free up resources used to prosecute fare evasions.

The Minns Government also needs to commit to more buses and trains for the regions and western Sydney.
