The war on drugs has never worked and all that prohibition of weed has accomplished is to send it underground and into the arms of organised crime. This has turned a relatively harmless drug into a potentially dangerous one.
Advocates have been calling for drug law reform for decades, and this 4/20 we’ll be hosting former NZ Greens MP and trustee of the ‘Make it Legal' campaign, Nandor Tanczos, to talk us through what legalisation could look like, what led to the historic upcoming NZ cannabis referendum and why he thinks they can win, and what legal weed might look like here in NSW.
